| Abstract: | In this brief report, we provide a portrait of the CEM-NET initiative and review studies that highlight contributions of this molecular epidemiological network to the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae clones as well as their routes and modes of geographic expansion. |
