| Abstract: | To explore the clinical value of detection of serum ischemia-modified albumin(IMA) in acute coronary syndrome(ACS) and the correlation with the plasma brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and troponin Ι(cTnΙ).The serum of IMA,BNP and cTnI in 56 cases of acute coronary syndrome,38 cases of non-coronary heart disease and 72 healthy controls were measured.The results showed that the serum level of IMA in patients with ACS were significantly increased(P<0.01) and no significantly difference in non-coronary heart disease group(P>0.05) compared with healthy control group.The serum IMA in ACS group was positively correlated with plasma BNP(r= 0.322,P<0.01) and no correlation with plasma cTnΙ(r=0.113,P> 0.05).IMA is a sensitive marker for ACS and could be used as biochemical markers to evaluate the reversibility of the early stage of ischemia.The combined detection of serum IMA and plasma BNP would be very helpful for the clinical diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome. |
