TRIPLE NEEDLING FOR TREATING 123 CASES OF THE 3rd LUMBAR TRANSVERSE SYNDROME

The 3^rd lumbar transverse process syndrome is a frequendy encountered disease in clinic. It is caused by prolonged stimulation of the fascia of the psoas major muscles by the pointed end of the excessive long transverse processes,leading to inflammation of the fibrous tissues around the transverse processes. Usually, the longer of the transverse process, the higher is the incidence rate, and it is closely related to rheumatism and trauma. Using triple needling method,the author treated 123 cases of the disease from 1992 to 2002, and cured them all. The report follows.
