摘    要:目的评价"DOM"课堂教学模式在高职中医学专业公共英语教学中的应用效果。方法采用抽签法从湖北中医药高等专科学校2018级中医系随机抽取2个班作实验组和对照组。实验组采用"DOM"课堂教学模式,对照组采用传统教学法。教学结束后比较两组学生的口语成绩、笔试成绩及自我导向学习能力评分。结果实验组口语及笔试成绩高于对照组(P<0.05);自我导向学习能力得分总分及学习意识、学习行为、学习策略、学习评价、人际关系五个维度得分均高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论 "DOM"课堂增强了学生学习的主动性,提高了学生的综合素养,教学效果良好。"DOM"课堂有可能适合其他专业的高职公共英语教学,值得进一步尝试和推广。

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of applying "DOM" teaching mode in College English teaching for TCM majors in higher vocational education. Methods Applying drawing, two classes of the class of 2018 were selected randomly as the experimental group and the control group in TCM department in Hubei College of Chinese Medicine, with "DOM" teaching mode applied in the experimental group while traditional teaching mode in the control group. After tea-ching practice, oral test and written test were taken and evaluations on self-directed learning abi-lity were taken as well, and then comparisons of the results between two groups were made. Re-sults Scores on both oral test and written test of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). Total scores on self-directed learning ability and individual scores of 5 dimensions on learning consciousness, learning behavior, learning strategy, learning evalu-ation and interpersonal relationship of the experimental group were all higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusions "DOM" teaching mode strengthened students’ learning in-itiative, improved their comprehensive abilities, and had good teaching effect. "DOM" teaching mode is worth applying and popularizing for other majors in College English teaching of higher vocational education.
