Strategy to Build the Hospital Resilience in the Context of Disaster Medical Surge

In the context of disaster medical surge,hospital systems that bear medical demand and social responsibility are facing complex challenges.How to effectively deal with the disaster medical surge for hospitals has become a urgent topic.A resilient hospital system has sufficient capacity to show toughness,resistance and adaptation characteristics after disturbance to maintain the internal and external balance of the system.This article applies the resilience theory to the hospital’s response to disaster medical surge,and clarifies the role and construction mechanism of the hospital’s resilience system.This article proposes the construction strategy of hospital resilience from the perspectives of robustness,redundancy,resources and rapidity,and provides theoretical support and policy suggestions for the hospital system to further improve its ability to respond to public health emergencies.
