摘 要: | Dear editor,Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) is the commonestvasculitis in children, typically affecting children agedthree to ten years.[1] It is a multi-systemic vasculitismediated by type III hypersensitivity with deposition ofimmunoglobulin. An immune complex-mediated vasculitisaffects small vessels of the skin, joints, kidneys, andgastrointestinal (GI) tracts. HSP is usually a self-limitingcondition and resolves within six to eight weeks.[1]
