The effect of simplesubcutaneous negative pressure drainage device on gynecological open incisionaccording to fishbone pattern

Objective To investigatethe effect of subcutaneous indwelling drainage tube with self-made simplenegative pressure drainage device on gynecological patients undergoing opensurgery. Methods From January 2016 to December 2018, a randomized controlstudy was conducted on 120 patients with open surgery in the sixth hospitalaffiliated to Guangzhou medical university. The participants were randomlydivided into control group (conventional issue incision decompression, withoutnegative pressure drainage tube placement) and observation group (incisionsubcutaneous indwelling drainage tube of external self-made simple negativepressure drainage). The postoperative recovery, wound healing and complicationswere compared. Results In the observation group, the time of abdomenclosing (16.25±6.13 min), the time of incision healing (5.89±1.52 d), thenumber of dressing changes (6.12± 1.21 d), and the length of hospital stay (7.92±1.64d) were all significantly lower than those in the control group (18.23±5.69min, 7.92±3.39 d, 10.03±2.13 d and 9.33±3.68 d, respectively, P<0.05). Therewas a statistically significant difference in the composition of postoperativewound healing between the two groups (P<0.05), and the secondary suture rateof the control group (16.67%) was significantly higher than that of the controlgroup (0.00%, P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in theobservation group (10.00%) was significantly lower than that in the controlgroup (56.67%, P<0.05). Conclusion The self-made simple negativepressure drainage device provides good postoperative recovery, faster woundhealing and low incidence of adverse reactions, which is worthy applied in thegynecological open operation.
