Abstract:Urinary tract injuries are unfortunate complications of pelvic surgery. These frequently involve the bladder. The incidence of iatrogenic ureteral lesions ranges from 0.05% to 30%. Even though some lesions are observed intraoperatively, most remain undiscovered and reveal themselves later. Fistulas of ureteral origin usually involve the vagina or more rarely the uterus. Uretero-fallopian fistulas are even more rare. We report a case of uretero-fallopian fistula that developed after surgery for endometriosis.
