Vitreous seeding associated with melanocytoma of the optic disc |

| Abstract: | The authors describe an unusual case of melanocytoma of the optic disc associated with seeding of extracellular pigment or melanin-containing macrophages into the overlying vitreous. The possible mechanisms responsible for this clinical picture are discussed. |
