老年冠心病和高血压病的胰岛素抵抗

目的：探讨老年冠心病（ＣＨＤ）和高血压病（ＥＨ）的胰岛素水平及胰岛素敏感性的变化，方法：对无糖尿病史的老年冠心病患者２６例，老年原发性高血压病患者３２例，老年对照组３０例，检测口服葡萄糖耐量试验（ＯＧＴＴ），胰岛素释放试验及血脂（ＴＣ，ＨＤＬ，ＴＧ）。结果：ＣＨＤ组，ＥＨ组均存在高胰岛素血症（ＨＩＳ），分别为８１％和８８％，两组均存在胰岛素抵抗（ＩＲ），两组均存在糖耐量低减（ＩＧＴ），分别为５８％

Insulin resistance in elderly patients with coronary heart disease and essential hypertension

Objective:To study the changes of serum insulin (Ins) and insulin sensitivity index (ISI) in elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and essential hypertension(EH).Methods:The concentrations of blood glucose(BG),Levels of insulin(IS) during oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT)and fasting blood TG,TC,HDL were measured in 26 non diabetic patients with CHD,32 non diabetic patients with EH and 30 elderly healthy controls Results:There were hyperinsulinemia and impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) in 81% and 58% of patients with CHD,and 88% and 63% of patients with EH There was IR in CHD and EH patients There were positive correlation between the levels of HDL,TG and ISI There were negative correlation between the levels of LDL and ISI Conclusion:There are hyperinsulinemia and IR in CHD and EH elderly patients The reduction of ISI is one of the risk factors for CHD and EH elderly patients
