Nursing risks among nursing students with different educational levels

Objective To investigate the nursing risks among nursing students with different educational levels so as to provide scientific references for vocational safety education of nursing students with different education levels. Methods A self - designed questionnaire about nursing risk was used to survey 360 nursing students in 4 3A -level hospitals. Results The situation, namely doing operations by nursing students alone, occurred in all the 21 investigated nursing operations. Among the 10 questions about law knowledge, the correts rates of the question about response to nursing errors and were relatively higher （94.44%）, while the correts rates of the two questions about medical malpractices classification and patient rights were only 40.28 % and 38.06%. There were significant differences on the scores of doing nursing operations alone and nursing safety knowledge among nursing students with different educational levels （ P 〈 0.01 ）. Conclusion There are differences about nursing safety knowledge and the satus of doing nusing operation among nursing students with different educational levels. So it is necessary to carry out targeted nursing safety training in schools and further make clinical education regular, so as to improve clinical practice safety of nursing students.
