Investigation of implementing the non - holiday outpatient service on general well - being of nurses

Objective To investigate the influence of implementing the non - holiday outpatient service on general well - being of nurses,in order to provide theoretical basis for the implementation of new nursing management. Methods General Well - Being Scale （GWS） was used to investigate 119 outpatient nurses. Results There was no significant difference of general well - being between the envolved nurses and national norm （ P ~ 0.05 ）. The scores of general well - being of the nurses in different departments were significantly different, and the factor whether the workload could be accepted or not was significantly related with general well - being of the nurses. Conclusion Nursing administrators should distribute human resources rationally according to the features of the sections and the workload, improve the income of clinical nurses, so as to increase their well - being.
