| Abstract: | The use of laparoscopy in patients with malignant disease is particularly helpful diagnostically and will often impact on future therapy. The indications and complications of this technique in combination with other diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in patients with malignant disease are evaluated and the accuracy of results are compared to laparotomy procedures. Future trends in laparoscopic surgery also are discussed. |
