促进医学职业精神建设优化医学的社会职能

《新世纪医师专业精神——医师宣言》精辟地分析了医学专业精神的内涵,表达了医学行业的严格自律精神。联系我国实际,认为必须解决三个主要问题：一是坚持利他主义作为医学职业精神的核心,这是由医学职业面对患者进行思考时必须解决的。二是坚持患者自主原则,诚实地向患者说明诊治方案包括医疗过程中出现的失误,深入进行医患沟通以赢得患者的信心和信任。三是转变观念,认识医学促进社会公平的重大作用。在我国有不少医生认为促进社会公平,合理分配医疗卫生资源是政府的事,与医生无关。而且还存在着过度医疗行为,却并未认识到这是妨碍其他患者利用这些资源的行为。医生和医学界应当负起责任,推动医学职业精神建设,优化医学职业特有的社会职能。

Optimal Construction of the Medical Professionalism to Promote the Spirit of Social Functions

The paper of" A declaration of the physicians-medical professionalism in new century" comes up with a penetrating analysis of the spirit of medical professionalism,and also a claim of the strict self-discipline in the medical industry.Three main issues should be solved in consideration of the present situation in China.Firstly,take altruism as the core of medical professionalism firmly,and this consideration becomes especially urgent when a reflection of medical professionalism is being conducted from the standpoint of the patients.Secondly,a patient-independence principle should be abided by,that is,physicians should explain the treating course to the patients clearly and honestly including the treating scheme and the treating lapsuses in order to build up an effective communication between physicians and patients and the subsequent trust and confidence from the patients.Thirdly,transformation of the previous concept and the recognition of the primary importance of the medicine in promoting social fairness should be included.Many physicians in China have a misunderstanding that the promotion of social fairness and the rational allocation of medical resources are just government's affair and have nothing to do with themselves.And besides,they are not aware of the pre-existing over-use of medical service has become an obstruction against other patients' taking advantage of the medical resources and services.Therefore,both of the physicians and the medical field should take full responsibility for promoting the medical professional spirit and thus improve the unique social function of medical profession.
