Relations between HBV Pre-S1 antigen and its serological markers and HBV DNA

Objective To discuss the relations among Pre-S1 antigen,HBV serological markers and HBV DNA.Methods Pre-S1 antigen and serological markers of 880 hepatitis B patients were detected by ELISA.HBV DNA load was detected by fluorescent quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR).The relations were analyzed.Results In 880 hepatitis B patients,the positive rate of Pre-S1 antigen and HBeAg was 56.25％ and 37.27％ respectively.The detection rate of HBV DNA was 63.52％.In the patients with HBsAg( + ),HBeAg( + ),and anti-HBc( + ),the positive rate of Pre-S1 and HBV DNA were 91.14％ and 94.62％ respectively.There were no statistical differences in the detection rates among HBeAg,Pre-S1 and HBV DNA ( x2 =1.69,P ＞ 0.05).In the patients with HBsAg( + ),HBeAg( + ),there were no statistical differences in the detection rates among the above three indexes ( x2 =2.13,P ＞ 0.05).In the patients with HBeAg negative,the detection rate of Pre-S1 and HBV DNA were obviously lower.In the 495 Pre-S1 positive patients,there were 456 patients with HBV DNA positive(92.12％ ).The positive rate of HBV DNA and Pre-S1 matched well ( x2=2.54,P ＞ 0.05).The positive correlation between Pre-S1 detection rate and HBV DNA viral load was observed( r =0.84,P＜0.01).Conclusions In the HBeAg positive patients,the positive detection rate of Pre-S1 and HBV DNA is high.The consistency of the positive diagnostic rate of Pre-S1 and HBV DNA is good.Pre-S1 can reflect the HBV replication in HBeAg positive patients,and may have great clinical significance in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis.
