| Abstract: | The results of selective, ascending aorta and left ventricular angiocardiography by percutaneous femoral arterial catheterization done in 23 cases of left-side cardiac diseases were presented. The technique used by the authors has been discussed indetail. The metod consists essentially in the passage of a flexible guide wire into the vessel,and the threading of a catheter over the wire which is then withdrawn from the vessel. Success rate of this method was 95. 7%. It has become a safe and satisfactory percutaneous technique. |
