The second generation of Internet-medicine: from data to value

Internet medicine is a new medical paradigm based on the rapid development of Internet, cloud computing, wearable devices and social networks, especially under the background of biomedical big data. The collection, storage, information interconnection, privacy protection, ontology construction and sharing of biomedical data and the construction of relevant information platforms are the main concerned focuses of the first generation of Internet medicine and the preparation for the data architectures. The second generation of Internet medicine will pay more attention to the deep mining, value realization and precise application of biomedical big data.
