Abstract: | Staphylococcus epidermidis, a human commensal, is a common cause of bacteremia in immunocompromised patients with indwelling medical devices. We report a case of isolated cervical adenitis caused by S. epidermidis in an immunocompetent patient and comment on the presumed pathogenesis. |
