Treatment of distal tibia fracture with LCP Antrolateral Distal Tibia Plate

Objective To summarize the operative procedures and the clinical effectiveness of the LCP Antrolateral Distal Tibia Plate 3.5 in patients with distal tibia fracture.Methods Twenty-one patients with distal tibia fracture were treated with the LCP Antrolateral Distal Tibia Plate 3.5.Results All the patients were followed up.The mean follow-up period was 18 months(6-28 months).All distal tibia fractures eventually achieved solid bony union.Clinical results were excellent with a mean Mazur scoer of 85.71 points.Conclusion LCP Antrolateral Distal Tibia Plate 3.5 can be aimed at fixing fracture block.It solves the previous single fixation limitations,effectively avoids the complications caused by less medial soft tissue coverage and high local tension.
