克拉玛依市区儿童青少年肥胖与父母社会经济状况的关系

目的 掌握克拉玛依区儿童青少年超重及肥胖的发生率与其父母社会经济状况的关系.方法 测身高、体重,采用国内儿童青少年年龄-性别-BMI超重、肥胖判定标准,调查父母文化程度及职业.结果 超重和肥胖的检出率分别为13.6％、7.67％,男性高于女性,各民族间差异有统计学意义.超重和肥胖在父母文化程度和职业较高中检出率高.结论 克拉玛依市区儿童青少年超重及肥胖已达1/5,与家庭的社会经济状况呈正相关.

Relationship between obesity of children and adolescents and the socioeconomic status of parents in Karamay City

Objective To investigate the relationship between obesity of children and adolescents and the socioeconomic status of parents in Karamay city. Methods The body height and body weight were detected to investigate the prevalence of overweight and obesity according to the national standard of children and adolescents age-sex-BMI, and their relationship with the socioeconomic status of parents were analyzed. Results the detection rates of overweight and obesity in children and adolescents were 13.6% and 7.6%, respectively, which was higher in males than females. Statistically significant difference was found between nations. There was greater prevalence of overweight and obesity in the children and adolescents whose parents have higher educational and economic status. Conclusion Obesity and overweight in children and adolescents were up to 1/5 in Karamay city. The children and adolescents whose parents have higher socioeconomic status tend to have greater risk of obesity and overweight.
