摘    要:<正> 六十年代初,Nakane和Pierce Avrameas和Uriel等开创了辣根过氧化物酶标记抗体的新技术。其后,Mason及Sternberger等又研究成功了免疫过氧化物酶法,称为免疫酶技术。近十多年来,免疫酶技术有了迅速发展,国内外已有许多应用酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)进行细菌学、病毒学等方面的研究。1977年,Bideoell等用ELISA检测风疹巨细


APPLICATION OF IMMUNOPEROXIDASE LABELLED ANTIBODY TECHNIQUE IN RAPID DIAGNOSIS OF VIRAL PNEUMONIA IN CHILDREN
Abstract:The immunoperoxidase labelled antibody technique to detect adenovirus (AdV) antigen and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) antigen is described in this paper. The 75 specimens were collected from shedding in throat swab by cases of viral pneumonia. The patients'age orranged from 2 month to 4 years. The patients of this group were examined with direct and indirect immunoperoxidase labbelled antibody technique respectively. The shedding cells from throat swab were put into tissue culture, and then examined with immunoperoxidase labelled antibody.The results of AdV antigen in virus isolation and/or pair sera hemagglutination inhibition were compared with those obtained from direct and indirect methods of immunoperoxidase labelled antibody technique, and the corresponding rate was 77.8% and 94.4% respectively. The results of RSV antigen in virus isolation and/or pair sera complement fixation test were also compared with those of immunoperoxidase labelled antibody technique, and the corresponding rate was 65.2% in direct method and 87.0% in indirect one. It was demonstrated by the results cited above that in detecting virus antigen, the immunoperoxidase labelled antibody technique had the same value as the traditional laboratory method. According to this study, the positive rate of indirect method seemed higher than the direct one (Except AdV antigen which was put into tissue culture.) the technique used to examine virus antigen may be performed in 2 to 4 hours only, and the method is simple without more specific equipments and instruments. The technique is considered as a rapid early diagnostic method for viral respiratory diseases, and it is, however, necessary to be studied further.
