Abstract: | Amniotic fluid analysis involving 119 tapingswas performed in 95 high risk pregnancy patientsfrom March 1980 to October 1981. This is, at present, the most accurate method for assessing fetal maturity. The accuracy of the L/S ratio, foam test and creatinevalue was 96.98'70, 94.89'70 and 86.6%, respectively. The stt:tdy shows that amniotic fluid analysisplays an essential role in the planned delivery ofhigh risk pregnancies. Intra-amniotic administrationof dexamethasone can promote fetal maturity and isalso very important in the management of theCondition. |
