| Abstract: | Coumarin-induced necrosis is a rare but severe complication of therapy with coumarin or its derivatives. The pathophysiology is still not well known. A case of a very young female patient who suffered from Marcumar-induced necrosis with loss of a forefoot is described. The differential diagnosis includes among others phlegmasia cerulea dolens. |
