摘    要:<正> 目前世界速度滑冰记录一般都是在海拔3000米以下的高山冰场上创造的。我国的新疆天池冰场,海拔1984米,四周群山环抱、冰质优良。近几年来,全国性速度滑冰比赛曾三次在这里举行,并且创造了一些好成绩。为了从平原初到高原地区训练和比赛的运动员减轻高原缺氧反应,保持最佳竞技能力,


A PRELIMINARY STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF OXYGEN INSPIRATION IN RELIEVING ATHLETE'S ALTITUDE ANOXIA AND IMPROVING THEIR FUNCTIONS
Abstract:This article discusses the effect of oxygen inspiration on top-class speed skatersfrom the plains who have newly arrived in Xinjiang's Tianchi Rink (1,984 metresabove sea level). Practically all the skaters who came to the highland for training or competitionsuffer from altitude anoxia, especially within 9--12 days of their arrival. The symp-toms disappeared in 1 to 3 days among those who took in oxygen but in 4 to 9days among those who did not. Oxygen inspiration helped to lower heart rates rapid-ly, slow down breathing, relieve muscular fatigue and improve the function of theheart and the lungs. It also helps to alleviate the sickness caused by altitude anoxiaand remove the fear of oxygen deficiency. All this helps to restore an athlete togood form. The report also studies acute cases of syndrome in altitude anoxia, which canbe quickly cured-and its sequelae prevented-by oxygen inspiration.
