| Abstract: | A case of acute leukaemia initially presenting as middle ear pathology is reported. The child came with fever of 3 weeks duration, severe otalgia for 2 days, followed by facial palsy. The usual clinical features of otogenic facial palsy were conspicuous by their absence. An early blood-smear report could have clinched the diagnosis. |
