Abstract: | Objective to construct a theoretical matrix based on the meanings of the interactionsand actions experienced by the professionals regarding the nursing carepractices and the health of women in situations of conjugal violence in theambit of the Family Health Strategy. Methods research based in Grounded Theory. Following approval by the Research EthicsCommittee, 52 professionals were interviewed in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Theanalysis was based on open, axial and selective codifications. Results the theoretical model was delimited based on the phenomenon "Recognizingconjugal violence as a public health problem, and the need for management ofthe care for the woman", which reflects the experience of the professionalsin relation to care for the woman, as well as the meanings attributed tothis care. Conclusions the phenomenon allows one to understand the movement of action andinteraction regarding the care for the woman in a situation of conjugalviolence. |
