喉癌p53基因异常的临床意义

目的p53基因异常是恶性肿瘤发生发展中常见的现象,但其临床意义仍存在争议。回顾性研究喉癌p53蛋白过度表达,并分析其与临床病理特征和致癌危险因素之间的关系,以探求p53基因异常可能的致病机制和预后判断方面的意义。 方法 以100例手术切除的喉癌标本为研究对象,收集并记录诊断时的临床参数和致癌危险因素,用免疫组化法检测p53蛋白表达。 结果100例喉癌标本中p53蛋白的阳性表达率为66％;检测中发现p53蛋白表达与年龄、性别、饮酒程度、肿瘤部位、临床分期和病理分级等临床病理参数之间无关联(P>0.05)。 结论p53基因异常与喉癌的发生发展有关,与喉癌预后无关。

p53 gene alterations in laryngeal squamous cell carcinomas

Objective p53 gene abnormality is common in human cancer. However its clinical significance is controversial. The aim of our study was to retrospectively examine the overexpression of p53 protein in laryngeal cancer and its relationship to clinicopathological characteristics and to determine whether any pathogenetic and prognostic significance could be found. Methods Archival surgically resected tumor biopsies from 100 patients with laryngeal cancer were selected. A data base was constructed containing some clinical parameters at the time of diagnosis and risk factors. Immunohistochemical detection of p53 protein. Results In laryngeal cancer, p53 over-expression was observed in 66 %. No associations were found between p53 aberrations and clinicopathologic parameters, including patients'age, gender and alcohol abuse, tumor site, stage, and grade. Conclusion p53 protein expression may be involved in laryngeal tumorigenesis and probably unrelated to the prognosis of laryngeal cancer.
