Abstract: | Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) in a companion dog was confirmed based on clinical symptoms, virus isolation, and virus-specific antibody detection. Fever and anorexia began after tick bite. Viremia disappeared within two weeks and antibodies were detected one week after disease onset. |
