| Abstract: | Spiraeamide, a new sphingolipid, has been isolated from the ethyl acetate-soluble fraction of the methanolic extract of the whole plant of Spiraea brahuica, along with marrubiin, 19-acetylmarrubenol, and 6-acetylmarruenol. Their structures were elucidated by 1H and 13C NMR spectra, and COSY, NOESY, HMQC, HMBC, EI-MS, and FAB-MS experiments. |
