An update on the diagnosis and treatment of peptic ulceration in the pediatric population

Objective:To systematically review the dagnosis and treatment of peptic ulceration in the pediatric population.Methods:Data on peptic ulceration in the pediatric population were obtained by review.Treatment and diagnosis were the focus of this analysis.Results:All applicable data on the diagnosis and treatment of peptic ulceration in the pediatric population were extracted.Conclusion:Accumulating data suggested that selecting optimal medical examination and treatment would have beneficial effect on the early diagnosis and the outcome of peptic ulceration in the peditric population,and be of great importance in preventing recurrence of such disease.
