| Abstract: | Objective Ultrasound Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis of breast diseases. With the advancement in technology new diagnostic modalities have been added in the armamentarium of investigation protocols for breast diseases, especially carcinoma of breast, which is showing a rising trend in the recent years. This includes high frequency ultrasound of breast, threedimensional ultrasonography, contrast ultrasound, interposition etc. This article briefly describes the role of ultrasound imaging in the diagnosis of carcinoma breast. |
