piRNA与心脏相关疾病研究进展

摘    要:非编码基因组与人类疾病的关系一直是研究的热点,而非编码RNA在心血管疾病的研究还处于起步阶段。Piwi蛋白互作RNA(Piwi-interacting RNA,piRNA)是一种小的非编码RNA,可与Piwi蛋白结合,通过DNA甲基化沉默转座子,在生殖系中高表达和得到了广泛的研究。关于piRNA与心脏相关疾病的研究尚在起步阶段。作者对piRNA及其与心脏相关疾病的某些潜在调控关系作一综述。

Progress of the research on piRNA and heart related diseases

Abstract:The relationship between non-coding genomes and human diseases has been the focus of research, and non-coding RNA in cardiovascular disease research is still in a developing field. Piwi-interacting RNA (piRNA) is small non-coding RNA that associate with Piwi proteins for transposon silencing via DNA methylation and are highly expressed and extensively studied in the germline. The research on piRNA and heart related diseases is still in its infancy. This paper reviews the discovery, occurrence, characteristics, functions and mechanisms of piRNA and the potential regulatory relationship of heart related diseases.
