Abstract: | Abstract: Non-cardiac chest pain (NCCP) is the most common extra-esophageal manifestation of gastroesophageal reflux disease. The proton pump inhibitor empirical trial (PPI test) is a simple non-invasive, arcurate and cast-saving test for evaluating patients with GERD-related NCCP. The review will discuss the use of the PPI test as a diagnostic test for NCCP. |
