Analysis on anaphylactic shock induced by asarone injection

Objective： To summarize the characteristics of anaphylactic shock induced by asarone injection,in order to provide reference for clinical drug use.Methods： ADR cases of anaphylactic shock induced by asarone injections reported in the period of 2000 – 2011 from domestic academic journal database were collected,and the distribution of age and gender of the patients,occurrence time of ADR,situation of medication,the type of ADR and main clinical manifestation of anaphylactic shock were analyzed.Results： There were twenty-six articles including twenty-seven cases.There were seventeen cases（63.0%） of anaphylactic shock occurred within f ive minutes after medication,ten cases（37.0%） occurred in ten to thirty minutes after medication.The shortest and longest occurrence time of anaphylactic shock were one minute and thirty minutes,respectively.Drop of blood pressure to shock level,palpitation or panicky and nausea and vomiting were main clinical manifestations.One patient died despite medical treatment,and the symptoms of anaphylactic shock of other twenty-six patients were relieved completely.Conclusion： Anaphylactic shock induced by asarone injection should be paid more attention to,especially in the naive patients.
