谈中医药在肿瘤综合治疗中的作用和体会

根据临床实践经验及查阅相关文献,分析总结中医药在抗癌、配合放化疗减毒增效及防治肿瘤复发及转移方面的作用。中药在肿瘤治疗中的作用主要有以下几个方面：（1）中医药具有抗癌作用,如抗肿瘤中成药、中草药中有效抗癌成分及有效组分等;（2）中医药配合放、化疗可增效减毒;（3）中医药可以提高免疫功能,防止或降低肿瘤转移和复发。中药治癌副作用少,更适用于晚期癌症患者,尤其是手术后及放、化疗后的治疗;对于体质差的病人,中药疗效比较理想,可使病人带瘤长期生存。

Discuss on the traditional Chinese medicine' s effect in the integration therapy of tumor

For the intermediate and advanced stage cancer patients, the TCM （ Traditional Chinese Medicine） therapy can increase the curative effect and decrease the toxicity of chemic and radioactive ther- apy, improve the patients＇ symptom, enhance their life quality, extend their survival period, while cooper- ating with the modern therapy. The TCM therapy may work in those ways ： First of all, the TCM has ability of resist-cancer itself： there are lots of patent medicines of TCM and many single herbal medicines which can resist cancer directly. Secondly, the TCM therapy can increase the curative effect and decrease the tox- icity of chemic and radioactive therapy. Thirdly, the TCM can improve cancer patients＇ immunity function ; prevent the metastasis of cancer; reduce the recrudescence probability of the tumor. In a word, the TCM therapy has less side-effect than modern western therapy and it is even better for the advanced stage cancer patients, especially for those patients who have finished the surgery or chemic and radioactive therapy. The TCM can help cancer patients live a long period while the tumor still there.
