| Abstract: | A case of serous papillary cystadenocarcinoma of the ovaries with hyperamylasemia has been studied immunohistochemically, electron microscopically, and biochemically. Cellular localization of amylase in the tumor tissue was determined by biochemical analysis, using an indirect immunoperoxidase method. Electron microscopy revealed electron-dense granules located in the peripheral region of the cytoplasm of most tumor cells. |
