四环素治疗牙周炎的新评价

目的：观察四环素（ｔｅｔｒａｃｙｃｌｉｎｅ，ＴＣ）加洁治与否对牙周炎的疗效并分析其疗效原理。方法：把１２４例牙周炎随机分为洁治、ＴＣ、洁治加ＴＣ３组，按研究设计进行治疗，以菌斑指数、牙周袋深度和附着水平作为指数，观察疗效。结果：洁治术后菌斑指数下降，一个月后菌斑指数又恢复到治疗前水平。ＴＣ组连续服用小剂量四环素一个月后菌斑指数明显下降，其抑制菌斑作用达停药后５个月之久。单纯洁治或ＴＣ治疗不能明显缩小牙周袋深度或增加附着水平。洁治加ＴＣ治疗不但能明显降低菌斑指数，而且牙周袋深度明显缩小，附着水平明显增加。结论：ＴＣ能提高牙周炎治疗的成功率。ＴＣ类药物对牙周炎疗效原理有抗菌和非抗菌性能两个方面

A clinical evaluation of tetracycline on periodontitis HUANG Shi-Guang

AIM and METHOD:The effect of scaling, tetracycline and scaling plus tetracycline on clinical parameters was made for 6-months. RESULTS:Treatment with scaling had only a transient improvement on plaque index. However, treatment with tetracycline had a significant improvement of plaque index. The effect of tetracycline on inhibiting microbial flora lasted five months after stopping treatment. Treatment with scaling or tetracycline alone did not improve the probing depth and attachment level. Treatment with scaling plus tetracycline had a significant improvement on plaque index, the depth of periodontal pocket was decreased and the attachment level was increased significantly. CONCLUSION: Tetracycline could increase the success rate of periodontal therapy. Both antimicrobial and non-antimicrobial properties of tetracycline are useful as adjuncts in periodontal therapy.
