| 摘 要： | 介绍 3位英美科学家因发现调控细胞周期的关键分子 ,获 2 0 0 1年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖。这一基本发现对于全面了解细胞的生长过程具有重大意义 ,多数生物医学研究课题将因之受益 ,并会在许多不同领域得到应用。从长远来看 ,有可能为癌症治疗开辟新的途径。

| Abstract: | The three scientists from the United States and England were awarded the Nobel Prize for 2001 in Physiology or Medicine for their discoveries of "key regulators of the cell cycle".The fundamental discoveries are important in understanding all aspects of cell growth.Most biomedical research areas will benefit from these basic discoveries,which may result in broad applications within many different fields.In the long term,the discoveries may also open new principles for cancer therapy.This article introduces the three Nobel Laureates and their research. |
