| Abstract: | This article discussed the theoretic origin of nourishing yin and its clinical usage.The theory of Nourishing yin and lessen firewas originated from Neijing established by Zhu Danxi, deeply influenced by Taoism and Neo-Confucianism thought.The method of nourishing yin and lessen fire still had an important guiding significance in treating common diseases at present. |
