Report urges collaboration on inmate discharge planning

A report from the National Institute of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended that prisons do more discharge planning for HIV-positive inmates being released to the community. Public health and correctional agencies should collaborate more in discharge planning and transitional services. Recommendations for how to obtain a closer collaboration are provided.
