| 摘 要： | Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a major cause of chronic morbidity and mortality throughout the world. Unbalance of proteinases and an-tiproteinases is thought to be important in the pathogene-sis of COPD, as well as inflammation and oxidative stress. However, neutrophil elastase is likely to be the major proteinase involved in lung destruction in alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, and it may not be involved in COPD caused by inhalational exposures.
