It is a combination of traditional Chinese medicines such as safflower,Chuanxiong,Chishao,Angelica and Salvia. Its active ingredients include ligustrazine and safflower yellow. Pigment A,Danshensu and ferulic acid have the functions of dispelling poisonous evil,promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm and clearing meridians,regulating immune response,antagonizing endotoxin and improving microcirculation disorders,and are often used in the treatment of sepsis. This article will review the pharmacological effects of Xuebijing Injection and the mechanism of action in the treatment of sepsis.
