Abstract: | We report a case of delayed cerebrospinal fluid-cutaneous fistulathat developed in a patient following removal of a thoracicepidural catheter used for perioperative analgesia. It was furthercomplicated by the development of bacterial meningitis. Predisposingfactors and management of this rare iatrogenic complicationare discussed and the literature reviewed for similar reports. Br J Anaesth 2004; 92: 42931 |
