| Abstract: | As a result of action by the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, the specific names Aedes albothorax (Theobald, 1907), Ae. circumluteolus (Theobald, 1908), and Ae. mcintoshi Huang, 1985, are conserved for common African mosquitoes; a neotype for albothorax is designated; and the specific name Banksinella pallid Theobald, 1907, is suppressed. |
