| 摘 要： | 目的 本文结合加拿大医科生的培训情况,介绍加拿大的老年医学培训.在加拿大,老年医学隶属于内科学的范畴,经加拿大皇家医师学会认证,有全国通用的老年医学专业资格证书.要成为老年科医生,在经过了大学本科和医学院培训并从事临床工作的基础上,还需参加2年的老年医学科培训.学习内容主要是有关衰老以及老年人特有的健康问题,包括衰弱、联合用药、认知损害、痴呆和功能损害.在老年医学专业培训的过程中,医生要学习如何对老年人进行综合性评估,并学习如何在住院部、门诊部、疗养所和老年人家中等多种医疗环境中及多学科组成的医疗团队中从事诊治工作.

| Abstract: | Objective In Canada, Geriatric Medicine is a subspeeiahy of Internal Medicine, and there is national certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in the form of Certificate of Special Competence in Geriatric Medicine. The two-year subspecialty training in Geriatric Medicine includes study of aging and special medical problems of old age, including frailty, polypharmacy, cognitive impairment, dementia, and functional impairment. During their specialty training in Geriatric Medicine, physicians learn to do Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments and to work within multi-disciplinary teams in many settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and older people's homes. |
