| Abstract: | Immunotherapy has changed the landscape of cancer treatment.The introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors has seen tremendous success in improving overall survival of patients with advanced metastatic cancers.However,only a subset of patients initially respond to these inhibitors,and increasing clinical evidence indicates that a substantial proportion of initial responders ultimately relapse with lethal,drug-resistant disease months or years later.Therefore,further exploration and understanding of the mechanism of drug resistance may provide important insight for guiding clinical practice.This review mainly discusses the mechanisms of ICPis resistance as well as methods for reversing ICPis resistance. |
