Application effect of medical chemical glue in closing incisions of breast minimally invasive rotary resection

Objective To explore the application effect of medical chemical glue in closing incisions of breast minimally invasive rotary resection.Methods Using the convenient sampling method,a total of 136 patients who underwent ultrasound-guided breast minimally invasive rotary resection in Beijing Anzhen Hospital,Capital Medical University were selected as the research objects from November 2017 to May 2019.They were randomly divided into the medical tape closing group and the medical chemical glue group,with 68 cases in each group.The medical tape closing group used medical tape to pull and close the incisions while the medical chemical glue group used medical chemical glue to bond the incisions.The incision healing situation,satisfaction with incision healing,times of visits to the hospital for dressing changes and the cost of return visits were compared between the two groups.Results There was no statistically significant difference in wound healing between the two groups(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in satisfaction with wound healing,times of visits to the hospital for dressing changes,cost of return visits and blister formation on skin around the incision between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with incisions of breast minimally invasive rotary resection closed with medical tape,use of medical chemical glue to bond such incisions can reduce the number of patients visits to the hospital,reduce the medical expenses of patients and achieve high patient satisfaction.
