Abstract: | AII 7 cases in this series had severe frag-mcnt displacement with indications for openreduction according to traditional surgical prin-ciples, but the authors preferred simple andeffective percutaneous poking to reduce thefragments, which overcame the drawbacks ofboth manipulation and open reduction. Thetechnic is simple, less traumatic to local tiss.ueand less liable to infection than open reduction.All cases attained excellent late results. |
