竹子在中医药和保健品开发中的潜力

中国地处亚太竹区的分布和起源中心，有竹５０属５００余种，竹林面积约７００万ｈｍ＾２，分别占世界竹林资源相应项的７１％、４２％、３５％。竹类资源除传统的药用得到发展外。国内外在黄酮类成分开发、多体效能研究、活性成分应用领域取得了长足进展；保健品开发领域除大规模开发笋制品外，在竹汁钦料、竹炭脱臭、保鲜防腐和色素利用方面已有所突破，小试、中试产品屡见报道，资源利用在中经现代化进程的作用日益重要。

Potentials of Bamboo in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Development of Health Products

Situated in the center of distribution and origination of Asian -- Pacific bamboo zone, China has more than 500 species of 50 genera of bamboo scattering in an area of 7 million hm2. Apart from traditional use in medicine, considerable advances have been achieved both inside and outside of China in developing flavones, function research of polysaccharides, and application of active ingredients. In the field of health product development. in addition to large-scale exploitation of bamboo shoot products,breakthroughs have been made in bamboo juice drinks,de- odorization with bamboo charcoal, anti -- staling and anticorrosive purposes, pigment application, etc. Bamboo resources and their exploitation are playing an increasingly important role in the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.
