Abstract: | The use of statistical correlations to determine the underlying relationships between P300 latency, memory function, and aging is discussed. Similar correlational patterns obtained over a variety of subject populations can strengthen inferences about the specific associations among these variables. Partial correlation techniques can facilitate such inferences only when all factors are linearly related. |
